Workplace Interior Designer
Wiltshire / Hybrid
£40,000+ (DOE)
I’m working with a growing commercial workplace design & fit-out business, looking for an experienced Workplace Interior Designer to join their Wiltshire team.
This isn’t a purely technical or back-office role. You’ll be client-facing, commercially aware and confident taking your ideas from initial concept right through to delivery. It’s a key hire for the next stage of the business’s growth, and it’ll particularly suit someone who enjoys being in front of clients and wants real ownership over their work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating engaging commercial workplace concepts and space plans
- Presenting and communicating design ideas directly to clients
- Contributing to pitches, presentations and competitive tenders
- Working closely with the wider design and technical teams
- Balancing creative ambition with budget, feasibility and commercial objectives
- Adapting designs where needed to protect value and margin
- Taking ownership and accountability for key design decisions

Requirements:
- Around 3–7 years’ experience in commercial workplace / office design
- Background in Design & Build or commercial fit-out
- Strong space planning and visual communication skills
- Confident presenting to clients and key decision-makers
- Solid understanding of cost, value and margin
- A portfolio demonstrating strong commercial workplace projects and clear design thinking
