- Working closely with the wider design team to turn creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions
- Developing construction drawings, technical specifications, joinery details and coordinated design packages
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal project teams to keep delivery smooth
- Making sure designs comply with building regulations, technical standards and project requirements
- Attending design coordination meetings and contributing technical expertise throughout the project
- Supporting and mentoring junior designers where needed
What’s on offer:
- £65,000–£70,000 basic + commission scheme
- Permanent role with one of the UK’s most established workplace D&B businesses
- High-profile commercial interior projects
- A talented, collaborative design team
- Excellent career progression and professional development
Requirements:
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
- Ideally previous experience in Commercial Design & Build or workplace fit-out, or an architectural background with commercial office interiors experience
- Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
- Experience producing and coordinating comprehensive technical drawing packages
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, construction methods and building regulations
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working with creative designers, project managers and external consultants
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with excellent attention to detail
If you’re a technically strong designer who wants to work on quality workplace projects with a team that backs its people, this one’s worth a chat.
