Senior FF&E Consultant – Commercial Workplace Design & Build
London
Up to £80,000 + Bonus
I’m working with a leading global workplace design and build business looking to bring in an experienced Senior FF&E Consultant to join their London team.
This is a senior, highly client-facing role for someone who combines strong FF&E and furniture expertise with a genuinely commercial mindset. You’ll work across major Design & Build projects and direct end-user furniture packages, getting involved from the earliest client conversations and pitches through to specification, procurement, installation and handover.
This isn’t just a specification role. They want someone who enjoys meeting clients, building relationships, presenting ideas and helping win work, while still having the technical and commercial knowledge to deliver significant furniture packages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading FF&E and furniture packages from initial brief through to installation
- Meeting clients to understand their workplace, aesthetic, operational and commercial requirements
- Developing furniture strategies, specifications, schedules and presentation packages
- Creating and presenting compelling furniture proposals and pitches
- Helping grow the direct-to-end-user furniture offering
- Building long-term relationships with clients, manufacturers, dealers and suppliers
- Managing supplier negotiations, pricing, margins and procurement
- Working alongside Interior Design, Workplace Strategy, Commercial and Delivery teams
- Overseeing delivery, installation and final handover
- Developing existing accounts and generating repeat business
What’s on offer:
- Up to £80,000 + bonus
- Exposure to major international clients and projects across EMEA, with opportunities for international travel
- Work alongside the senior furniture leadership team
- Real scope to shape the continued growth of the furniture offering
- The backing of a major international workplace business with an established furniture offering
Requirements:
- Significant experience in commercial workplace FF&E / furniture
- Background in a furniture dealer, Design & Build business, furniture consultancy or manufacturer
- Strong knowledge of leading furniture manufacturers and suppliers
- Experience managing significant furniture packages from concept through to installation
- Good commercial understanding of pricing, margins, procurement and supplier negotiations
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills, with experience pitching furniture solutions
- Confident managing projects autonomously while working with multidisciplinary teams
If you enjoy the relationship-building and creative side of FF&E as much as the specification and delivery, this one’s worth a chat.
