Senior Designer – Commercial Workplace D&B

London, Clerkenwell

£60,000–£65,000 + Commission (£75,000–£85,000 OTE)

I’m working with a growing D&B business on a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer to join a brand new team.

This is a chance to get in at the start of something, helping shape both a team and its creative direction, across commercial fit-out and workplace projects from £2m to £20m. It’s a client-facing role where creativity, confidence and commercial awareness really count, and you’ll be trusted to own design conversations and turn briefs into well-considered, deliverable spaces.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the creative design process across commercial fit-out and workplace projects from £2m to £20m
  • Developing strong design concepts in response to client briefs and project requirements
  • Presenting ideas and design proposals confidently to clients and stakeholders
  • Acting as a key client-facing point of contact throughout the design process
  • Working closely with project, pre-construction and wider design teams to develop deliverable schemes
  • Producing and developing designs using Revit
  • Taking ownership of the design narrative from initial concept through to developed design
  • Contributing creatively to pitches, presentations and new business opportunities
  • Helping shape the culture, processes and creative direction of the new team

What’s on offer:

  • £60,000–£65,000 + commission, £75,000–£85,000 OTE
  • The chance to help build and shape a brand new team from the ground up
  • Genuine ownership over the design narrative and creative direction
  • A creative D&B studio going through an exciting period of growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer within commercial fit-out, workplace or a closely related environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative workplace and commercial interiors
  • Confident using Revit
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and concepts directly to clients
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of how design decisions impact cost, programme and delivery
  • Someone who wants to help build and shape a new team, not simply join an established structure

If you’re a creative Designer ready for the next step and want to help shape something from scratch, this one’s worth a chat.
