Senior Designer – Commercial Workplace – D&B

£60,000 + Commission
I’m working with a well-established, design-led D&B business in London looking to bring in a Senior Designer who can have a real impact on both the creative side of the business and its continued growth.
You’ll sit at the front end, helping to win work, shape client briefs, pitch ideas and lead the design process. You’ll be the creative lead in meetings, confident enough to put ideas forward, challenge a brief where needed and get clients bought into the vision.
The projects are workplace and commercial fit-out, so you’ll need to understand how good design translates into a deliverable D&B project. You’ll work closely with project, pre-construction and commercial teams, balancing creativity with programme, budget and buildability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design process from initial brief through to concept and developed design
- Taking the creative lead on workplace and commercial fit-out projects
- Getting involved in pitching and work-winning, developing concepts that help secure new projects
- Attending client meetings and presenting design proposals with confidence
- Translating client requirements into strong, commercially viable design solutions
- Working alongside pre-construction, project management and commercial teams to keep designs deliverable
- Using Revit confidently across the design process
- Helping shape the creative approach and design standards across the business

Requirements:
- Senior Designer or equivalent experience within workplace, commercial interiors or fit-out
- D&B experience highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Revit
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong creative and commercial design quality
- Confident presenting to clients and comfortable getting involved in pitches
