Project Manager – Commercial Office & Industrial Fit-Out / D&B

I’m working with an established regional Design & Build contractor with a strong reputation for high-quality workspace and industrial projects, delivering commercial office and industrial fit-out and refurbishment schemes up to £2.5m.
Their pipeline across the region is exceptionally strong and the workload is growing, so they need an experienced Project Manager to help manage it. You’ll take full financial and margin responsibility for your own projects and have real ownership from pre-construction handover through to client sign-off.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing multiple live fit-out and refurbishment sites at once across commercial office and industrial, up to £2.5m
- Owning budgets, cost control, variations and final accounts, with full margin responsibility
- Running delivery from pre-construction handover through to practical completion and client sign-off
- Coordinating site management teams, direct labour and specialist subcontractors
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, landlords and consultants
- Enforcing health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all live sites
- Identifying risks, managing technical details and solving problems on the ground
- Delivering smooth handovers that drive repeat business

Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in commercial office or industrial fit-out and Design & Build
- Commercially astute and comfortable taking total financial ownership of multiple projects at once
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A proactive approach to on-site management
- Able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
