Pre-Contracts Manager – D&B Office Fit-Out

I’m working with a well-established regional commercial office Design & Build business looking to bring in an experienced Pre-Contracts Manager.
This is a key role taking ownership of the tender and pre-construction stages, working closely with clients, business development, design and the wider supply chain to secure and transition high-value fit-out projects. They’ve recently strengthened the team considerably and are looking to keep growing off the back of it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the end-to-end pre-construction and tender process
- Leading tender management, proposal generation and commercial negotiations
- Collaborating with design teams to develop accurate, buildable cost proposals
- Taking ownership of tender programmes, methodology and preliminary cost planning
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during the pre-contract and bidding phase
- Reviewing and negotiating contract terms, scopes of work and subcontractor packages
- Ensuring a seamless handover of won projects to delivery and operations teams
Requirements:
- Experience within commercial office fit-out / Design & Build
- Comfortable managing tender and pre-construction processes in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially astute, highly organised and confident in front of clients
