Commercial Manager – Commercial Office Design & Build
London or Amsterdam | EMEA
Salary Dependent on Experience
I’m working with a global Design & Build fit-out company that’s continuing to expand its fit-out division across Europe, and they need a Commercial Manager to join their London or Amsterdam team.
You’ll take commercial ownership of multiple office fit-out projects across EMEA. This is a post-contract, delivery-focused role, working closely with Project Managers to manage budgets, costs and contractual responsibilities from contract award through to final account. There’s no pre-construction, estimating or tendering involved.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the commercials across multiple office fit-out projects at the same time
- Owning project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
- Working closely with Project Managers to protect margins and keep projects commercially on track
- Managing variations, valuations, subcontractor accounts and final accounts
- Administering contracts, including FIDIC, and spotting commercial and contractual risks
- Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Travelling across EMEA as needed to support your projects

Requirements:
- Previous commercial management experience within Design & Build / commercial office fit-out, with a strong understanding of the delivery side
- Experience managing budgets and commercial responsibilities across multiple live projects
- Previous experience working with FIDIC contracts
- Strong post-contract experience, from contract award through to final account
- Confident dealing directly with clients and working alongside Project Managers
- Experience working across EMEA and a willingness to travel
