I’m working with a small, growing London Design & Build business looking to bring in an ambitious Assistant Project Manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to break into the office fit-out industry, challenge themselves and learn something new. You’ll be working on multiple commercial office projects up to £500k, gaining hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager who will help develop you, give you real responsibility and push you towards the next level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and gradually taking ownership of multiple office fit-out projects up to £500k
- Getting involved from pre-construction through to handover
- Assisting with programmes, budgets, costs and project delivery
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team
- Attending client and site meetings
- Learning the commercial side of running projects
- Developing towards independently managing your own projects
Requirements:
- No set years of office fit-out experience needed, this is about the right attitude, ambition and willingness to learn
- Organised, proactive and confident dealing with people
- Genuinely keen to develop a career in project management
