Role Overview:
As a Technical Manager, you play an essential role as a project leader and technical manager. Below you will find an outline of the critical behaviours and skills you should demonstrate. This document should be read in conjunction with your professional/technical role requirements. As a benchmark, a minimum of 90% of all attributes must be attained. Once 100% of all attributes are attained over a sustained period of 6 months, the title Associate can be used in conjunction with this role. Responsibilities:
· Attend 50% of all management meetings (management reports completed and emailed in advance if unable to attend).
· Ensure representation or presence at resource meetings as required.
· Actively seek KPI feedback from clients at key project stages.
· Understand and assist in the delivery of business plans. Ability to translate objectives and communicate them in a way that makes sense to the broader team and lead any initiatives set out by senior management.
· Promote collaborative working across the practice drawing on expertise from other colleagues wherever needed.
· Encourage and support the success and development of others and the business by sharing clients, contacts and opportunities with other leaders where appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field, professional architectural license or certification is a plus.
Evidence of consistently strong performance recorded in PDRs.
Qualifications and experience needed to perform the core role of senior-level of architect, surveyor, designer, technician, financial controller, marketer etc.
Commitment to undertake further training to stay abreast of the latest regulations and best practices in your field.
Minimum of five years post-qualification experience or equivalent
